Step 1 Complete in taking the Grandma out of the Kitchen

The kitchen update has begun. I have completed Step 1, taking down the Wavy Gravy thing above the window.  Instant makeover, $0.

However, now to the hardware.  The hardware we currently have looks like an old lady's earrings.  
Example:

I'm deciding whether or not to go stainless steel like I've always had or black.   I like a lot of black handles on I see on Pinterest.  I get distracted for hours a day on Pinterest.   I also like these one's with the glass on them, maybe it's the Jersey girl in me.  I try to suppress it but damn it I'm drawn to sparkle.   
I have to decide.......
